When providing investment-planning advice, a JPJ Investments financial consultant will define the scope of the work she or he will do with you. The method of compensation, your risk tolerance, and other relevant information will be clearly outlined on our proprietary explanation forms. These brief, easy to understand documents will disclose your goals and objectives, any fees and/or commissions involved, and early withdrawal penalties (if they apply).
The following process includes the steps necessary for defining a successful investment plan for each client:

Establishing the client-consultant relationship

Gathering client data, including goals and risk tolerance

Evaluating the client's financial status

Developing and presenting investment planning options, alternatives and solutions

Implementing the investment planning recommendations on a fee or commission basis, whichever you prefer -- clearly explained to your satisfaction

Monitoring the investment planning recommendations, with complete reviews at least annually, or optionally, semi-annually
At JPJ Investments, our financial consultants will work with you to determine your personal and financial goals, needs and priorities, understand your time frame for achieving the results you desire (within the framework of your defined goals), and discuss your tolerance for financial risk. Our "standards" also require our consultants to gather financial information about you when developing your personal investment plan. Please don't feel that we're intruding into your privacy when we request that you bring your financial documents to your scheduled appointment.
These documents may include: tax returns, brokerage/bank/insurance/credit union/retirement plan statements, and other sources of information, as needed. Remember, we work for you and our goal is to potentially improve investment performance, lower taxes, stabilize the risk of your portfolio, improve your income and financially protect you and your family.
